Description
This 1968 Holden HR Wagon is an upgraded example with a few more jobs to do. These HR wagons are getting hard to find and rarely come up for sale.
This is a Brisbane-built car that has had a lot of money spent on it over the years. Originally a 186, the HR is now driven by a 202 (3.3L) 6-cylinder motor out of a VH Commodore, fitted with extractors, a 2-inch exhaust system, and an electric fuel pump.
Paired with this is a 3-speed column shift manual. A disc brake front end helps pull you up nicely, and the HR has been lowered, sitting on a set of Retro Mags.
The car is presented in its original colours, Finisterre Green with a Grecian White roof and an Opera and Ballet Green interior, with plenty of money spent here too. Throughout the interior, the HR has received new carpets, the bench seats have been reupholstered, an upgraded Kenwood radio with Bluetooth, and new venetians have been fitted for the true classic look that we know and love.
This HR is in tidy condition, though certainly not new, and with two sets of keys, the HR is ready for its next chapter in life.
