Seven remarkable concours-winning classic and historic vehicles have been named in the running for the The Peninsula’s distinguished Best of the Best Award 2025.
The award, which annually selects the world’s most exceptional classic car from a list of global concours event winners, is set to be presented at The Peninsula Paris – a century-old landmark and part of The Peninsula Hotels group which sponsors the award – on January 26, 2026.
While each of the seven finalists are billed as representing “the pinnacle of automotive design and performance”, only one will be crowned the ‘Best of the Best’, earning it the title of the title of the world’s most exquisite classic motorcar exhibited during the past year.
The seven nominees for The Peninsula Classics Best of the Best Award 2025 include winners of the most prestigious concours events on the classic car calendar, and vehicles spanning 70 years of production.

Following the award ceremony, the winning car that stands out above the rest will be displayed at the Rétromobile event also in Paris, one of the world’s most celebrated classic car shows, from January 28 to February 1.

Judges for this year’s Best of the Best Award include comedian and television host Jay Leno, sports and racing car designer Gordon Murray, and Mercedes-Benz’s chief design officer Gorden Wagener.
The trio will be joined by acclaimed automotive architects, former industry leaders, and international royalty to create a truly prestigious and diverse judging panel.
The most recent winner of the award for 2024, the 10th time it had been presented, was a stunning 1964 Ferrari 250 LM with Daytona and Le Mans racing history.
