Aussie auction special: Collecting Cars has over a dozen icons up for grabs

    It's not every day you see a smorgasbord of classic Aussie muscle cars all up for grabs at the same time, but today is one of those days.

    Collecting Cars currently has more than a dozen lots available, mostly featuring vehicles from the 1970s and early '80s, and mostly originating from the same collection in Leeton, New South Wales.

    A range of Holdens including three GTS Monaros – a 1970 HT, 1971 HQ, and 1978 HZ – are among the Leeton lots, along with a 1971 HG Premier, 1976 HX LE Monaro, and 1980 VC Commodore HDT Brock.

    It's not all Holdens in this collection, though, with 1973 Ford XA GS Fairmont Coupe among the listings.

    Other Fords you can bid on from elsewhere in the country include a 1970 XW Falcon GT, 1976 XB Falcon GT with a manual gearbox swap, and a newer 1997 EL Falcon GT wearing stunning Sparkling Burgundy paint.

    There are more Holdens, too, with a 1976 LX Torana SS located in Melbourne already attracting six-figure bids.

    Three 21st century Holdens are also available, including a one-of-137, 7.0-lite 2009 HSV W427 with just 2818km on the clock. A factory-fresh 2017 HSV GTS-R with only 28km is also available, with both also in six-figure territory already.

    Bidding for these incredible lots ends on November 21, 2024 at 5pm AEDT. All lots can be found on the Collecting Cars website.
