I am offering my 1973 XA Ute for sale, this is a matching number Ute, finished in the original SkyView Blue with Blue interior, 58,000 miles on the odometer, Original 250 ci engine, original Borg warner 3 speed column auto.
This Ute is in remarkable condition for its age, structurally very sound. The tub is in excellent condition, and it appears that this has never been used as a work Ute. It is believed to have been delivered to the Victorian Police Dog Squad originally; however this cannot be proven.

The mechanical components have all been checked or rebuilt as follows,

Engine – compression test OK, Valve clearances adjusted, Main and rod Bearings STD and original OK, new roller timing chain and sprockets fitted, oil pressure as per new specs. This engine runs perfectly and has never had the cylinder head removed or the bottom end checked prior to this. New radiator and hoses, coolant replaced, new spark plugs, new vacuum advance diaphragm.

Transmission – Serviced and flushed, bands adjusted, operates as per the service book.

Differential – rear cover removed and inspected, all OK. refilled with synthetic oil, new universal joints fitted.

Front end – All new upper and lower control arm bushes, new ball joints, new tie rod ends and idler arm bushes, new disc brake rotors and pads, new wheel bearings and seals, new front gas shockers.

Rear end – All new spring bushes, shackle bushes and leaf isolators, new brake drums, brake shoes and wheel cylinders, new gas shockers.

Interior has been reupholstered in the original blue vinyl, new door cards, working original Super Fringe radio, new door seal. no expense spared on this project.
