This fully restored USA built bus, is presented in a nice coastal colour scheme of Blue and White with Off White and Blue interior trim.

This vehicle has just been through a thorough registration process, and we hold documentation from renowned automotive engineers, Tonkin Consulting of Adelaide. We also hold acknowledgement from the Federal Department of Infrastructure’s approval for it’s importation, approval # 99361/02 dated the 13th of November 2009.

The owner of this vehicle has unfortunately not been able to proceed with his intention of using the Kombi and hence is regrettably putting it up for sale.

The bus is powered by a strong 1916cc flat four cylinder air cooled engine. The engine features new alternator, new heads and starter motor along with a dual Kadron carburettor set up that was recently overhauled and tuned. An aftermarket stainless exhaust peaks it way out under the back and gives it a cool sound.

The engine is paired to a Highway Flyer four speed manual transmission with Scat shifter. The front end is a new Wagens West adjustable front beam with Wilwood disc brakes and dual master cylinder. The rear end is a Bus Boys straight axle with rear disc brakes.

This vehicle wears non original Porsche 911 rims and is currently Historically registered in South Australia. This registration is non transferable, however the vehicle would be eligible for similar schemes in most jurisdictions, which equates to minimal on road costs.

This split screen Kombi presents beautifully, and is one cool cruiser. It would be ideal for a business promotion or simply just a cool classic vehicle to use for classic car events, or just a cruise with room for the whole family to make some memories in.
