This carefully and beautifully refurbished M635 CSi is both a matching number car and finished in the stunning original colour scheme of Royal Blue metallic with a charcoal leather interior.

Originally delivered to NZ and purchased by us in 2017, the one owner here has meticulously recorded all invoices, and photographed the refurbishment of this BMW right down to obtaining the correct stickers and labels where required.

The car also has a NZ history file together with the more recent and beautifully presented file and pictorial book recording the experience. The majority of the work has been carried out by Caulfield Jaguar over a 2 year period.

The M635 CSi coupes were built between February 1984 and February 1989 with a total production of 5855 cars, and 5 variants. The second variant model 5532 were the rare 524 cars without catalytic converters and in RHD configuration producing nearly 290 BHP. Powered by the M88 engine with 24 valves derived from the legendary M1 car, these coupes could top 158 mph and were equipped with the Getrag 280 5 speed gearbox.

Suspension and brakes were uprated together with a slightly lowered ride height and cosmetic upgrades to the bodywork.
