Registered as a classic car on club plates with MGCC Victoria. Purchaser will need to register as a new owner. Plates cannot be transferred.
Car is US import early restoration, still in excellent condition, no rust. Long periods of little use required reconditioned brakes, rubbers, hoses, new rear hubs, steering felt bushes, tie rod ends, gaskets in gearbox and new oil seals.
Replaced original engine with new sleeves, pistons, rods, bearings, balanced crankshaft, mild Tighe street cam and extractors. Clutch thrust washer, rebuilt original water pump, new gaskets, ARP studs, head reconditioned with hardened valve seats and new rocker shaft. Car has travelled less than 400kms since completion, roadworthy and registration.
Additional work included temperature gauge repair, reconditioned SU’s (re-bushed shafts, needles, butterflies etc). Has been meticulously changed from left to right hand drive, using correct components to bring it back to original. Three years has been spent with far too much work to list.
