The Honda Cog Tv Commercial created controversy as many thought computer graphics were used

Cog is a British TV ad launched by Honda in 2003 to promote the seventh-generation Accord range of cars. Agency Partizan Midi-Minuit produced the piece on a budget of £1 million ($1.92 million).

The ad starts with a single cog rolling down a ramp, setting off a chain reaction involving wheels, gears, doors, and even a full-size Honda Accord.

Each component seamlessly interacts with the next, demonstrating the precision behind Honda's engineering.

The synchronized movements and intricate choreography of the objects highlight the attention to detail and quality craftsmanship that Honda is known for.

The two minute final cut of Cog was first broadcast on British television on 6 April 2003, during a commercial break in ITV's coverage of the 2003 Brazilian Grand Prix.

It remains one of the most innovative and captivating automotive television advertisements ever made.

Nissan’s fifth-generation S14 200SX delivered V8-eating performance in a handsome two-door sports coupe package. In the Australian automotive vernacular, the phrase “hairdresser’s car” is a not-so-subtle sledge usually reserved for attractively styled but somewhat underpowered and dynamically underwhelming sports coupes.

The answer is obvious, isn’t it? OF COURSE BLOODY NOT! The sounds and smells of internal combustion are an integral part of the classic car ownership experience and replacing that with a box of volts should be actionable by law.
