Leading French fashion house Louis Vuitton has teamed up with Porsche 964 specialists Singer Vehicle Design on a pair of vehicles that celebrate Louis Vuitton’s philosophy around the ‘Art of Travel’, marking the first-ever co-branded item for either company.
The pair consists of two Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer models – a ‘Classic’ coupe, finished in Louis Vuitton’s iconic colours of saffron, cobalt blue, and yellow, along with a ‘Classic Turbo’ cabriolet finished in Calcaire Lutétien white and complemented by exquisite precious-wood trim.
The saffron hue used on the Classic coupe is one that has been present in the Louis Vuitton’s archives for over a century and a half, and has been used across its packaging for more than twenty years.
The Bahama Yellow it’s paired with is one closely associated with Singer’s earliest commissions. It also has a connection to a set of travel trunks designed for Citroën in 1924, which featured cobalt blue interior reinforcements. It also matches the handles and ribbons of Louis Vuitton’s packaging.
Inside, all the usual plastic switchgear has been replaced with rhodium-plated metal items that are hand-finished and of a far higher quality, while the cabin is entirely upholstered in a natural hue inspired by VVT leather, one of the LV’s most utilised leathers.

On top of that, the car comes complete with a matching racing jacket finished in naturally grained Millésime leather with a silk lining, driving gloves, a helmet, straight-cut jeans, and two pairs of driving shoes all designed to perfectly complement the car.
Inside both the Classic coupe and Classic Turbo cabriolet you’ll also find a Tambour dashboard clock – a removable mechanical timepiece inspired by the iconic Tambour watch that can be converted into a desk clock.
Speaking of the Classic Turbo, this second vehicle was conceived by Louis Vuitton’s artistic director of women’s collections, Nicolas Ghesquière, with the turbocharged drop-top designed as a tribute to the elegance of classic motorboats.
Finished in Calcaire Lutétien, inspired by the white limestone that has shaped the Parisian landscape, including Louis Vuitton’s historic headquarters that overlook the Seine, it comes complete with a white roof and a host of gold and subtle brown accents.
The car’s rear luggage compartment behind the seats stands as an impressive feat of engineering, revealing a teak-inspired wooden deck, while the interior blends leather and large wood panels – notably across the dashboard, complete with both brands’ logos – to continue that nautical tribute.

Again, it comes complete with its own luggage, including a three-part trunk and garment bag, along with a 40mm Tambour Automatic watch finished in ceramic and yellow gold, matching the removable interior clock.
As with all Singer vehicles, both are based on the Porsche 964 chassis, fitted with lightweight carbon fibre bodywork. The Classic coupe utilises a 4.0-litre naturally aspirated air-cooled flat-six, which is teamed with a six-speed manual gearbox.
The Classic Turbo cabriolet trades a lower 3.8-litre displacement for a pair of twin-turbochargers with water-to-air intercooling. A six-speed manual is still fitted, but it also has selectable drive modes. Both vehicles remain rear-wheel drive and feature a carbon-ceramic braking system.
“The specifications chosen by Louis Vuitton exposed us to techniques and methods developed over decades of experience,” explains Rob Dickinson, founder and executive chairman of Singer Vehicle Design.
“They trusted us with their esteemed brand, their traditions and their vision and it was a joy to bring our two worlds together.”
