The Retro Rides Podcast Episode 21: John Bowe unpacks his Bathurst wins, FPV development, and his new book

In this episode of The Retro Rides Podcast, the team are joined by Australian motorsport legend John Bowe.

A two-time Bathurst 1000 winner in 1989 and ’94, along with winning the Australian Touring Car Championship in ’95, John discussed everything from his motorsport experience in Australia and overseas, his time working with Prodrive (now Premcar) on honing Ford’s legendary FPV performance models, and his upcoming book, Driven.

As usual, Cam, Patrick, and Josh also discussed the latest news from the automotive world, most notably the new Ferrari 12Cilindri Manuale with its sort-of gated manual gearbox.

They also recapped some recent RR Auctions sales, most notably a rare Subaru 22B – one of several cars recently sold from Australia to a North American buyer.
