The inaugural Anantara Concorso Roma is set to bring together 70 historic Italian cars in the heart of Rome this April, including three iconic Ferrari racing cars with a combined six Le Mans victories.
Set to be held at the Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel from April 16-19, the much-anticipated event is set to celebrate the best of Italian automotive design, hospitality, and cuisine – all of which embodies the spirit of ‘la dolce vita’.
Originally set to take place in 2025, it was postponed following the passing of Pope Francis in April 2025, but that hasn’t stopped the organisers from upping the ante for the time it finally rolls around in 2026.
Headlining the selection of cars set to be displayed is a 1964 Ferrari 250 LM which won the 1965 24 Hours of Le Mans and managed to capture six consecutive racing victories for the iconic manufacturer.
One of only two privateer Ferraris to secure the overall win, it was raced by the North American Racing Team (NART).

Sitting alongside it will be a 1963 Ferrari 275P. Starting life as one of four 250P racers, it was substituted for a chassis in repair for Le Mans in 1963 and managed to achieve the first-ever all-Italian victory.
The following year, Ferrari upgraded the chassis to the 275P specification, and the same car won Le Mans in 1964 as well.
Ferrari’s latest Le Mans racer will be presented alongside these icons, with the 499P – powered by a hybrid V6, and described as a “laboratory of cutting-edge technologies” – having won Le Mans three years in a row from 2023-25.
Commencing early for select guests and owners on April 15, the event incorporates optional city tours and luxury retail experiences, along with a welcome reception on the hotel’s rooftop on the evening of April 16 as the event officially opens.
On April 17, the Giro d’Anantara group will depart from Piazza della Repubblica, winding through the city of Rome to the delight of residents and visitors alike. The day will conclude in Villa Borghese, with dinner held at Guglielmo’s ‘pop-up’ trattoria at Casina Valadier.

Concorso judging is set to take place on Saturday April 18, where owners will gather with their esteemed vehicles at Casina Valadier for a Champagne reception, lunch in the Owners’ Marquee and further VIP sightseeing.
The showfield will be open for day pass ticket holders on the Saturday, before the day concludes with a Concorso Celebration dinner at the magnificent Palazzo Brancaccio.
On Sunday 19th, ticket holders will again be offered the opportunity to peruse the concours lineup on display, before the awards presentation is held that afternoon to recognise Class Winners before concluding with the presentation of the inaugural Anantara Concorso Roma Best of Show trophy.
In addition to exclusive packages and VVIP tickets for concours participants, day passes are available for attendees starting at €95 (A$160). Full details of the event including a programme can be found at the Anantara Concorso Roma website.
