American muscle car restoration company Trick Rides has reimagined one of the most iconic Shelby models ever created, the GT350, as an all-new build with the right blend of today’s engineering with yesteryear’s classic feel.
Dubbed the Shelby GT350TR, this track-focused performer honours the original car’s spirit, but comes complete with thoroughly modern underpinnings.
Built on a Roadster Shop chassis, the GT350TR is powered by a supercharged Ford Coyote V8 engine which delivers a monstrous 522kW (700hp) via a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual gearbox.
As you’d hope and expect, it should generate plenty of noise to go with that power, with it boasting a custom exhaust system using Ultimate Headers and MagnaFlow mufflers.
To ensure that power is usable, it rides on independent front suspension with Fox coilover shocks that allow for precise tuning and better handling across a variety of driving conditions.
In the rear it utilises a parallel four-bar rear suspension system, which is matched with a 9-inch rear axle upgrade. Roaster Shop oversized sway bars at both ends also ensure dynamic handling and stability.
At all four corners there are three-piece Forgeline wheels shod in Z-rated Continental rubber, while six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers from Baer Brakes provide stopping power to match its performance potential.
The GT350TR is built entirely at Trick Rides’ 31,000ft2 facility in Yukon, Oklahoma, with this new build reflecting the company’s no-compromise approach to muscle car restoration.
Although it retains steel body panels, modern bodywork upgrades come in the form of flush-mounted front and rear glass, Trick Rides’ custom LED taillights, and door handles, hinges, and wing mirrors from Ringbrothers. It’s also available with custom paint schemes to bring a personalised feel to each build.

“From the upgraded engine to the drivetrain and braking systems, the GT350TR blends classic Shelby styling with modern engineering.
“It is a car built to be driven hard but still feels unmistakably like a GT350 from the moment you see it and get behind the wheel.”
The Shelby GT350TR is available at a starting price of US$339,000.
