Exotics and muscle cars star in RR Auctions’ April 2026 sale

Bidding is now live on RR Auctions’ latest curated timed sale, with April’s lots including numerous headline-worthy acts.

Led by a strong contingent of exotic sports cars, there’s also a strong array of Aussie and American muscle to balance things out, along with a few wildcard entries to boot.

When the bidding window ends on April 29, the first cab off the ranks will be a 2005 Ferrari F430 coupe. Finished in Rosso Corsa with a Nero interior, this particular example is notable for having been specified from the factory in right-hand drive form with a six-speed manual gearbox.

Also residing at the top of the page is a 2011 Audi R8 Carbon Edition, one of only 10 limited edition examples ever offered in Australia that feature tens of thousands’ worth of carbon fibre upgrades. The example featured here is a Phantom Black coupe with the V8 engine and six-speed ‘R-Tronic’ transmission.

A recent 2025 Audi RS6 GT is another rare four-ringed car to feature – one of only 22 Australian-delivered examples of the hardcore wagon presented in virtually new condition.

Also from this decade is a 2022 Maserati MC20, the trident brand’s recent return to mid-engine glory. This example presents with a mere 1600km on the clock.

One car that served as the equivalent of such supercars almost a century ago is a 1928 Bentley 4½ Litre, with the British Racing Green example featured this month wearing Vanden Plas-style bodywork. 1928 was an important year for the 4½ Litre as that year it was driven to victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with an Aussie one of its two drivers no less.

Although we mentioned muscle earlier, one car that blends American brawn with exotic appeal is the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray that also features. The first Corvette to be produced with a rear mid-engine layout and in factory right-hook form, it’s one of three Corvettes to feature alongside a 1978 C3 and a 2002 C5 Z06.

In terms of classic American muscle, all of the ‘Big Three’ are represented between a 1962 Chevrolet Biscayne, 1966 Ford Mustang GT350R Tribute, and 1973 Dodge Challenger.

Local ‘Blue Oval’ fans also have plenty to ogle between a 1966 Falcon Futura Sports Coupe, a stunning 1971 XY Falcon 500 ‘K Code’, and a one-owner 1973 XA Falcon 500 Superbird.

GM fans aren’t left hanging through, as an award-winning 1968 HK Monaro GTS Restomod also shines in this packed field alongside a more recent 2015 HSV Clubsport R8 fitted with Walkinshaw’s ‘W557’ pack.

Bidding on all cars runs from April 19-29, with full details of all lots available on the RR Auctions website.
