A rare Porsche 917/30 racer, a Pebble Beach Concours-winning 1936 Delage D6-70 Milord Cabriolet, and a legendary 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will be among the star attractions at this year’s Noosa Concours d’Elegance.

Returning to the beachside resort town’s famous Hasting Street for only its third year on Saturday 19 July, the prestigious event will showcase a stellar lineup of 50 rare classic cars.

The famous shopping and dining strip will be closed to traffic to accommodate the Concours display of some of the world’s most famous marques including Aston Martin, Bentley, BMW, Bugatti, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and Range Rover among others.

Organisers report a record number of entries for this year’s event, with just the top 50 rare and classic cars from around Australia shortlisted and chosen for display.

A judging panel will assess each car before the winners are officially announced across seven categories including People’s Choice Award, Next Gen Award, Spirit of Noosa Concours d’Elegance Award, Best Restoration Car, Best Modern Car, Best Classic Car, and Best in Show.

Other attractions scheduled for this year’s event include sessions with master vehicle restorers who will offer a unique glimpse into the world of automotive preservation, lifting the bonnet on the some of the trade secrets that go in to preserving and restoring rare and classic cars.

Visitors can also enjoy an exclusive audio guide tour, immersing themselves in the stories and heritage behind each car on display.

A new event from Fashion Queensland will showcase the latest fashion collections with some of the iconic brands and boutiques lining Hastings Street, and of course, there’ll be food, lots of great food.

Sails restaurant, a fixture of Hastings Street’s beachfront open-air fine-dining scene, will host an exclusive wine dinner as part of the official event program.

Executive Chef Paul Leete has curated a four-course degustation menu to pair with premium wines supplied by Barossa Valley winery Torbreck Vinters. The winery’s chief winemaker Ian Hongell will also be on hand to provide insights into the various wines being tasted.

Art lovers will also be catered for with a stroll through the G Contemporary art space on Hastings Street with its collection of works by local, national, and international artists.

“We are proud to see this award-winning event continue to grow in prestige and popularity with the extraordinary support of our community, event participants, and sponsors,” said Ben Orton, president of the Hastings Street Association.

“The event brings together Australia’s finest lineup of rare and classic cars alongside the incredible natural beauty of our region. We encourage guests to sample the delectable dining options, shop in our boutiques, and stay in some of Australia’s best beachside accommodation while they are here in Noosa.”

While some events at the 2025 Noosa Concours d’Elegance are ticketed, the Concours display is free for attendees. Further information can be found through the Noosa Concours website.
