We’ve all got at least one of his cookbooks sitting on our shelves, but now you could have the chance to add one of Jamie Oliver’s classic cars to your garage.

The celebrity chef is sending three vehicles from his personal collection to auction later this month, as part of Classic Car Auctions’ sale at Stoneleigh Park in the UK.

Among the trio of motors, Jamie’s 1970 Ford Capri 3000GT is the stand-out. Not only does he describe it as his “go-to car”, but it made several TV cameos including on Jamie and Jimmy’s Friday Night Feast. It’s also one of only 31 examples estimated to remain on British roads.

Also on offer is his Karmann-built 1967 Volkswagen Beetle 1500 Convertible which comes complete with a matching trailer constructed from the rear-end of a similar Beetle. Unsurprisingly, the trailer has been modified to fit an ice cream condenser and fridge so it can be used for events.

Both the Capri and Vee-Dub have a guide price of £22,000 to £26,000 (A$43,280 to A$51,150) before VAT.

The most interesting listing, however, is the chef’s 1955 Fiat 1500 Pick-Up. A left-hand drive vehicle finished in a lovely shade of olive green with yellow wheels, it’s offered with no reserve.

Also among the listings for the event is a 1989 Peugeot 205 1.6 GTi owned by comedian (and noted enthusiast) Rowan Atkinson, which similarly is offered with no reserve price.

These four vehicles are among 114 on offer at the event in Warwickshire, UK on September 28.
