RR Auctions is gearing up for its inaugural sale which opens on Saturday February 15, 2026, and the unmissable headline act is a rare 1990 Ferrari F40.
One of 1311 examples produced, only a handful of which are kept in Australia, this Rosso Corsa example located in Queensland will be the standout lot to keep an eye on when bidding closes on Wednesday February 25.
Styled by Pininfarina and assembled from an exotic blend of Kevlar, carbon fibre and aluminium, the F40 was the last new model to be approved by Enzo Ferrari himself.
Designed for raw performance, it pairs a brutal 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 and manual gearbox with a featherweight chassis, offering a pure and truly engaging driving experience as it predates the era of modern driver safety systems.
The F40 is one of three cars to feature in the sale wearing the fabled Prancing Horse badge, with a 1994 348 Challenge and 1999 360 Modena among the other listings in this 30-strong cohort valued in excess of $10 million.
Other big-power exotics include a 2005 Lamborghini Murciélago complete with a gated six-speed manual gearbox, along with a 1997 Dodge Viper GTS and 2014 Aston Martin Vantage S just to show the variety of performance car flavours on offer.
That Vantage isn’t the only Aston to feature, with one of 88 examples of the track-only AMB 001 Pro motorcycle built in collaboration with Brough Superior also featuring and likely to bring in a big sum.
A 1960 MGA and race-ready 1969 Jaguar E-Type Fixed Head Coupe bolster the British contingent, while modern Japanese performance is represented by a 2000 Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R V-Spec, a 2002 Mazda RX-7 Spirit R ‘Type A’, and one of only 20 Australian-delivered examples of the 2021 Honda Civic Type R LE.
Naturally, some Aussie muscle also features in the form of a 1968 Ford Falcon XT GT and a 1972 Chrysler Valiant Charger R/T E49.
These cars are just some of the standout models in a lineup valued at over $10 million, with cars hailing from every Australian state including Tasmania and Western Australia.

“The response to our inaugural RR Auctions event has been incredibly rewarding,” says Cameron Jurd, founder and CEO of Retro Rides.
