While there are a number of iconic tyre companies that have found innovative ways to advertise their offerings, Goodyear is one brand that has had some of the strongest marketing available over the years. Think of a blimp, and you’ll no doubt picture it with a bright yellow Goodyear logo on the side.

With other brands having stepped up their marketing and visibility in recent years, though, Goodyear has released a commercial celebrating its legacy, and reminding other brands that it is still a pioneer in the space. After all, the Ohio-based company is named after American inventor Charles Goodyear who developed vulcanised rubber.

Prominently featuring clips from films such as Back to the Future, footage of some iconic racing and land speed record cars, and some of the brand’s marketing stunts and of course its iconic blimps, the commercial is soundtracked by the iconic hip hop hit “Still D.R.E.” by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.

Of course, there’s one thing in common with every vehicle you see in the commercial, from historic Formula 1 cars to the iconic time-travelling DeLorean: they’re all wearing Goodyear tyres.
