The Retro Rides Podcast Episode 9: An exclusive interview with Damon Hill

This week’s episode of The Retro Rides Podcast is headlined by an exclusive interview with Damon Hill, the 1996 Formula 1 World Champion. Retro Rides journalist Patrick Jackson sat down with him at the 2025 Adelaide Motorsport Festival to reflect on his success at the final Adelaide Grand Prix in 1995, his championship-winning season the following year, the F1 cars he drove during his career, and what it takes to reach the sport’s highest level.

As ever, Cam and Rich are back in the studio to talk about the latest news from across the world of cars. Headline stories this week include the dominance of reigning BTCC champion Jake Hill at the latest Goodwood Members’ Meeting, the long-awaited return of Targa Tasmania, and Ford Australia’s centenary celebration in Melbourne which Cam was in attendance for.

In addition to the usual ‘Hammer Time’ auction results, Cam and Rich also discuss the launch of Retro Rides’ new curated classifieds platform and some of the most interesting cars currently available on the website, along with some upcoming Aussie car events.
