The Retro Rides Podcast Episode 20: Future classics, a million-dollar Mustang, and our new merch store

On the latest episode of The Retro Rides Podcast, Cam, Patrick, and Josh debate what modern performance cars are likely to become future classics in years to come, with three shouts that are likely to draw agreement from many.

Also on the agenda was some conjecture around a recent Japanese study that revealed driving a car with a manual gearbox is better for your brain health.

They also discuss RR Auctions’ shift to a weekly auction model, meaning more cars and less waiting for buyers and sellers alike. Additionally, they discuss some of the recent sales from the previous monthly auction in June 2026.

Looking at some international auctions, they also discuss the sale of a 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 in America for a whopping US$950,000.

The team also discuss the new launch of Retro Rides’ merch store, along with what you can expect to see us offering there.
