The Lancia Delta Integrale is one of the most beloved hot hatches ever made, given its rallying connection. An Italian company by the name of Automobili Amos has taken this link and turned it up to 11 with its own creation, the Delta Safarista.
Just 10 examples will be made, with deliveries starting in 2023 but continuing into this year. It’s likely that all examples have been claimed already despite a price tag of €570,000 before taxes, equating to just under A$940,000. Oh, and that does’t include the cost of a donor car.

The donor vehicle required is a Delta Integrale 16V, which the company proceeds to turn into a three-door with a carbon body. Given the two-seat layout, the lack of rear doors is no issue.
The real highlight, though, is the off-road treatment the Safarista has been given. The suspension setup from Reiger is fully adjustable and gives a dramatic increase in ride height.

There’s also a set of Brembo brakes and an AP Racing hydraulic handbrake on the list of name-brand upgrades, with that theme continuing under the bonnet.
The engine gets upgraded by Autotecnica with a K&N intake, new cooling system, a Motec ECU, and an anti-lag system. The result is 394hp (294kW in metric). Additionally, there’s a 3MO Motorsport five-speed sequential gearbox to channel that power to the wheels.
When you consider the rallying pedigree of this iconic Lancia, this is a fitting homage and reimagining of it. The stunning blue example in these photos might look nice and clean, but we bet it won’t stay that way for long.
