Leading online auction site RR Auctions has risen to be number one in its segment just seven months after launching as a specialist Australian online collector car auction platform.
Audience data sourced from Google Analytics shows 287,000 Australian unique visitors visited RR Auctions and its companion editorial site Retro Rides between May and July 2026.
Competitor research site Semrush shows the brand’s Australian website traffic for the May-July 2026 period was three-times higher than rival Collecting Cars (94,700 Australian UVs), and almost eight times that of Trading Garage (36,900 Australian UVs).
The market-leading online statistics are backed by phenomenal growth and engagement on associated social media channels, with a combined 8.31 million views across Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube during the period.
RR Auctions and Retro Rides founder and managing director Cameron Jurd says the platforms’ diverse editorial offering was a key point of difference with other auction-only platforms and one of the keys to the brand’s success.

“The quality and frequency of our editorial content on RetroRides.com.au is a key component in the impressive performance of RR Auctions,” Mr Jurd says.
“The combination of daily news and feature articles, long- and short-form videos, and our podcast is attracting Aussie collector-car enthusiasts in record numbers, and alerting them to the incredible lineup of cars being auctioned every week at RR Auctions.
“We’ve also recently added RR Finance to make it easier than ever for passionate Aussie car fans to bid on and ultimately own the car of their dreams.”
The release of the digital audience data coincides with a highly successful week of sales on RR Auctions completing a 75 percent clearance rate, with an impressive hammer price of $241,000 achieved for a 1969 Porsche 911T RS Tribute, along with $113,000 for an extremely well-restored 1967 Ford Mustang and $90,500 for a 1994 AC Cobra replica.
“Thanks to our strategic focus on ensuring the daily publication of quality editorial content covering the latest news in the performance, prestige and classic car scene here and internationally, we’re connecting with Aussie car enthusiasts at the very top of the consideration funnel, and engaging with them all the way through to registration, bidding and ultimately the successful purchase of their dream cars,” adds Mr Jurd.
“This integrated approach is giving sellers access to a larger pool of future buyers, as opposed to visitors landing on live lots, and it’s why more and more owners of unique and desirable collector cars are listing their vehicles with RR Auctions not only selling vehicles in Australia but into the northern hemisphere also.”
